A strong score by
Frank Wildhorn along with lyrics by Leslie Bricusse bring
this classic Robert Louis Stevenson tale to life. The
story of a scientist who unwittingly undergoes a grotesque
transformation into a horrifying creature of the night comes
alive in the Plymouth Theatre stage. Under direction from Robin
Phillips, this production is excellently staged and acted.
Robert Evans is terrific in a dual role as both Jekyll
& Hyde, showing the range of his acting as well as his
singing. Reviews have been somewhat lackluster, but it's
well worth giving it a whirl.
