LaGuardia Airport is located in the borough of Queens, New York City. It is approximately eight miles from Midtown Manhattan. The facility measures a full 680 acres with 72 different gates from which to depart. It has been operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey under a lease with the city of New York since 1947.

To get there from Manhattan, take the Grand Central Parkway east to either exit 5 (Astoria Boulevard, Marine Air Terminal), exit 6 (94th street, alternate Airport Exit), or exit 7 (Airport Exit). From Long Island, follow the Grand Central Parkway West to either exit 5 (Steinway Street, Marine Air Terminal) or 7 (Airport Exit).

Upon arrival in LaGuardia, there are various methods for getting yourself into Manhattan. The M60 bus connects with various subway stations which can be taken into the city. The Q33 bus stops at the 74th Street-Broadway-Jackson Heights subway stop in Queens. The Carey Airport Express has various stops in Manhattan, among them Grand Central Station. The Gray Line Air Shuttle will drop you off at any hotel in Manhattan from 23rd to 125th Streets. Finally, the Gray Line Express runs back and forth from Manhattan and Jamaica, Queens, to LaGuardia.

Parking is readily available on either a daily or long-term basis, with Lots 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 available for hourly or daily use, and Lot 3 for a more lengthy stay. Ground transportation to the airport is negotiable for travel by limousine, taxi, or bus, from most local addresses as well as other major airports in the area, such as Newark and JFK. Information counters located near the parking area can assist you further.

Connecting flights are always available to Newark International or JFK Airports via express bus, metered taxi, limousine, or chartered and private vans. Multilingual staff will assist you with all inquiries and directions once inside the facility.
